Many people visit Ayodhya to pay homage to the birthplace of Lord Rama, and Ayodhya continues to remain a place where spirituality and comfort intersect.
Their stay in Ayodhya started at Praveg Tent City Ayodhya, where they were able to stay in an Eco-Luxury tent on their journey to visit the Ram Mandir. The combination of a Royal Experience, Spiritual Experience, and the tranquillity of Eco-Luxury made their visit truly memorable.
As soon as they arrived at Praveg, they felt as though they were in a storybook. The elegance of the silk tents and the sacred surroundings created a feeling that was nothing short of magical. Praveg was located on the banks of the Saryu River, just a short stroll from the Ram Mandir. They had every amenity one could want in an Eco-Luxury tent, including air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, and King beds in the Swiss Cottages.
They were provided with meals that were prepared using traditional methods and that contained delicious vegetarian food and enjoyed beautiful evening aartis on the banks of the river, and attended early morning yoga classes.
The next day, after eating a Sattvic breakfast consisting of fresh fruit and herbal teas, the group took a short trip to Ram Mandir on a Praveg shuttle. As they travelled the busy streets of Ayodhya in just ten minutes, the streets were filled with chanting of "Jai Shri Ram!" and decorating with flowers, and many different Indian pilgrims coming to this sacred place.
Experiencing The Darshan – a moment of everlasting blessing
As they approached the central shrine of Ayodhya and entered, they experienced a feeling like none other when they laid eyes on the idol of Bhagwan Ram Lalla. This idol is carved from black shaligram stone and as all the emotions came pouring down, they found themselves weeping while the priests were chanting and the smell of sandalwood and Jasmine floated through the air. It was the feeling of standing next to Bhagwan Ram Lalla - it felt as though He was saying "I am home," to them.
Included with all the Praveg packages were plenty of opportunities to complete the entire parikrama (circumambulation) of Ayodhya, as well as opportunities to participate in various outings such as visiting Hanuman Garhi or observing the evening aarti on the banks of the Saryu River. All planned out so they would have a deep spiritual experience while visiting with Praveg.
Enjoying masala chai on the banks of the Saryu River, they felt deeply connected to the divine essence of Ayodhya through their experience at Praveg Tent City Ayodhya. The experience elevated their spirit and helped them to be focused in prayer/meditation as well as mantras. Ayodhya is not only a place of pilgrimage but also represents rebirth and reconnection with one's original self.
Anyone considering making a pilgrimage to Ayodhya is encouraged to use Praveg for guidance while at this holy site of worship.
