Praveg's White Rann Resort awarded Deluxe Category for Tented Accommodation by the Ministry of Tourism.
It has been 10 years since White Rann Resort by Praveg has been hosting guests at Rann Utsav in Kutch. Every year, thousands of tourists visit Dhordo, where this international festival is held. People come to experience Kutch. Between the first ray of gentle sunlight and the rough kiss of a blanket in tents and Bhungas (cottage), guests not only experience the vast expanse of the desert but also its vibrant culture, diverse food, music, dance, local attractions, and more.
The Rann Utsav Experience
The ubiquitous sand can be so extraordinary and enticing! Ask any visitor, and you will hear thousands of stories about the fortitude of people, the spirit of the soil, and Kutch’s hospitable milieu. The four-month-long festival actually celebrates the opulence of sand, and the desert wears colourful garbs and looks like a garden of exhilaration, ebullience, and festivity.
However, amid corporate visions and bureaucratic decisions, we never forget our real heroes. It's the sweat and blood of our champions who work around the clock, braving the vagaries of weather, to ensure the timely set-up of hospitality infrastructure year upon year. This award (see the image) is a stellar example of their relentless hard work and dedication.
Praveg salutes and dedicates this award to the entire team, from those who tasted dust in the desert to those who squeeze their nerves in cool conference rooms.
